Pilates
What is Pilates?
Pilates is a low intensity conditioning style class that has a high focus on building a strong core. Our pilates classes are run by Carol, our resident Pilates coach and masseuse.
Pilates focuses on posture, balance and flexibility. Pilates is a great place to start for those that are returning to exercise or those that are rehabbing an injury. Our group classes are primarily mat based pilates. We use a range of equipment including, pilates rings, fit balls, resistance bands and light weights. We also have a reformer that is used during private 1:1 sessions or small group pilates training.
